Vintage Chinese dragon mask with attached costume as shown. The head is made from paper mache and hand painted beautifully in bright colours with lots of trims such as plush fabrics for fur, cotton pom-poms attached to springs to allow movement, green glittering eyes that can be moved by way of inside string and more.
The open mouth is where your head goes so you may see your way around while wearing this. The fabric is very light weight which allows lots of free movement while wearing and creating the appearance of floating or moving about. The opening for the head is ample being to wear appropriately.. The outer measurement of the head is 75 cm x 90 cm (as large as you would expect and imagine for an authentic piece of this kind). The floating fabric garment is approximately 250 cm long and trimmed with lots of sequins and plush fur, very cool piece! Overall condition is excellent with only minor wear although nothing that stands out for its age.
