Signed Val Saint Lambert 'Twisted Light' crystal table lamp in Emerald Green.

This simple yet graceful green table lamp is in medium size: 13 inches excluding the lamp-fitting and shade. The coloured core in Classic Val Saint Lambert tint has been given a thick Sommerso (clear crystal casing) so that the object appears delicate whilst remaining solid and stabile as a lamp base.
The twist on the external surface gives an entrancing optical effect as you pass it.
Produced between 1955 and 1965, it was handmade from top-quality lead crystal by Val Saint Lambert (the main Belgian crystal glassware producer, founded in 1826 and based near Liege.)
In excellent condition and in full working order having recently been re-wired and provided with a new fitting E27.
