A stunning early Cunard Line 'Left Baggage' wooden storage box most likely later used on board THE CUNARD - WHITE STAR LINER 'QUEEN ELIZABETH' which was in service between 1938 - 1972
Displaying original labelling with epic patina. Faint signs of written passenger details are visible but undistinguishable. Most interestingly there are remnants of Cunard wax seals to all four sides which would have secured a binding tape showing if the box was secure or had been tampered with.
This is a stunning piece of shipping memorabilia and perfect for storage most likely in a kitchen environment.
