A Magnificent pair of Long Oak Hall Bench / refectory Table Benches. Circa 1850 attributed to master makers Holland and Sons (or ‘Taprelland Holland’ as they were previously known), high class furniture makers to royalty.
These benches are Constructed in solid oak throughout and of light colour. The one piece very thick seat board with rounded ends and fabulously grained along its whole length. Peg joined construction, and the bold splayed legs joined by under stretchers confidently turned. Exceptional original condition and NO SAG with great mellow colour and natural patination.
